Studio Heinsius was founded in 2021 and is located in Klaukkala, Finland. It replaced Heinsius Clay & Tadelakt which was operating in the Netherlands since 2009. I am known as a Tadelakt specialist due to my career as a workshop instructor for Tierrafino and the high quality of my work. Materials I have frequently used besides Tadelakt are clay plasters, Marmorino, Travertino, Stucco Veneziano and other decorative finishes.

In the Netherlands, I worked with partners like UN Studio, Co van der Horst and Room for Fire for whom high end projects were always succesfully finished. Currently I am commissioned to finish collectible design pieces with Tadelakt for Tuomas Markunpoika (Fumi Gallery London) and Mokko Amsterdam.

Since 2021, I am focusing on development of objects to enrich interiors.

Finding the limits of materials, developing new objects and how to build them is where my passion lies.
